Additional Programs and Services
All of our additional programs are run during the summer. Listed below is information about each class and the dates the class is being run. All of our classes are cash based services and are not billable to insurances. These classes are open to all children, you do not have to be a patient of Tender Touch Therapy to participate in the class.
S.M.I.L.E (Sensory Motor, Music, and Integrated Language Experience)
This is a unique group designed especially for children who need additional help with interacting with their peers and childhood environments. The goal of this social group is to enhance the verbal and non verbal communication skills, provide a multi-sensory experience, and increase fine and gross motor skills in a group setting.

Lil’ Smilers
Want to get your children ready for Early Childhood or Preschool next fall? This group is for children 2 to 3 years of age. This group incorporates language, sensorimotor, fine motor, and gross motor into fun-filled thematic units. Snack is provided.

Handwriting Without Tears ®
HWT focuses on pre-printing, printing, and cursive skills using fun entertaining, ad educationally sound instructional methods. The letters easily transition from printing to cursive using a simple and straightforward method. HWT uses simple, clean, vertical style of printing and cursive that is easy for everyone to learn.  This class meets for 6 sessions and a child is able to start the classes at any time.  Please contact Jenni to set up a screen to determine which class best suits your child.  Tender Touch offers pre-printing, printing, pre-cursive and cursive classes.
Cost: $185

Yoga
Yoga helps to improve flexibility and range of motion, body awareness, focus, concentration, and memory, immune system, balance and posture. This class utilizes a variety of poses and routines that challenge each body system while maintaining attention and focus for balance. No previous yoga experience is required. Participants should be able to follow simple verbal instructions and demonstrations to complete routines and poses. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat if possible. There will be a few extra mats that can be borrowed for the day, if needed.
